Airplane is an aircraft designed to fly in the air. It is a means of transportation developed by humans and is used to carry passengers and cargo. Airplanes come in different sizes and types, ranging from small single-engine propeller aircraft to large passenger planes and military jets.
The basic functioning of an airplane is to generate lift in accordance with the third Newton’s law of motion (Actio = Reactio) when it is pushed backwards using the airflow from the engine. The wings of the airplane generate lift thanks to the shape and direction of the airflow passing over them, which allows the airplane to hover and fly. Airplanes are controlled using a variety of control surfaces, such as rudder for height control, horizontal rudder for directional control and cross rudder for side plane control.
